Pastor Jared Nicastro

Teaching Pastor

Jared Nicastro serves as Teaching Pastor at New Monmouth Baptist Church ministering alongside his wife Erin and two children Nicholas and Christopher. For 3 years Jared served as Assistant Youth Pastor at New Hope Community Church in New Hope, PA and then pastored at Jackson Baptist Church in Jackson, NJ for almost 11 years. He received his Masters Degree in Bible, Graduate Certificate in Organizational Leadership at Cairn University, and attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary for Graduate studies in Biblical Languages. Jared is a Middletown native (Go Lions!) enjoys spending time with his family, following his beloved New York Islanders, looking for any excuse to go out to eat, watch a good movie and is in search of the perfect sandwich and slice of pizza.
His philosophy of ministry stems from 1 Thessalonians 2:8, “So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us”.

Pastor Nick D'Angelo

Family Pastor

Nick D’Angelo is the pastor of student & family ministry at New Monmouth Baptist Church. Nick studied at Philadelphia Biblical University (currently Cairn University) where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Bible and focus in youth ministry. Nick is married to Andi, who is also his best friend! Nick’s desire is to assist and equip families to raise their kids to grow in the Lord, which in turn, encourages parents to be the primary disciple-makers of their children (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). He is the proud dad of two beautiful girls Francesca and Josephina. Nick is a New York Mets fanatic, guitar enthusiast, appreciates a full cup of coffee, a self-proclaimed “foodie,” and quotes the show “Seinfeld” often in daily conversation.

Pastor Tom Crenshaw

Connections Pastor

Tom grew up in Watertown New York and he attended Virginia Military Institute, Washington and Lee University, Monmouth University (teaching certificate) and Princeton Seminary. Following graduation, Tom coached and taught at the Manlius Military Academy in Syracuse, N.Y.
He has served seven churches in his 53 years of ministry. He came to know Christ through the ministry of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in 1962, and since then he has not only pastored, but he has taught, coached, and served as an athletic director at Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Prior to that, he served the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Fl.; The First Presbyterian Church in Red Bank, N.J,; The First Presbyterian Church in Greenville, Pa.; Cedar Park Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, Pa.; and the Pompey United Church in Syracuse, N.Y. He is presently serving as Connections pastor of the New Monmouth Baptist Church (non denominational) where he previously served as a three year interim.
A three sport athlete in college, Tom captained his football and baseball teams at Washington and Lee University as well as leading the Fellowship of Christian Athletes ministry.
He has been married to Jean for almost 50 years, and they have four children, all of whom are teachers.
Tom loves perennial gardening, umpiring high school baseball, coaching baseball and football, fishing for small mouth bass, rooting for his favorite team, the Cleveland Indians, and listening to ‘real’ country music, the classic kind.
He loves people and enjoys connecting and building relationships with people. His gifts are leadership and encouragement, and his ministry goal is “to equip God’s people for the work of ministry” (Ephesians 4:11-12).

Megan Colantino

Administrator

 Megan Colantino is the administrator at New Monmouth Baptist Church.  She moved to Middletown with her husband, Steve in 2004, and began worshipping at NMBC in 2006.  They have four sons, Mac, Jac, Doc and Roc which keep them busy but blessed.  Megan also serves in Children’s and Youth Ministries, which brings her a great deal of joy, as she loves interacting with people.

Jamie Reuter

Children's Ministry Director

 Jamie Reuter is the Children’s Ministry Director at New Monmouth Baptist Church.  She is a Middletown native, and is married to Mike (they are both graduates of Middletown HS South).  Together they have three young boys: Andersen, Gabriel, and Asher.  Jamie received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.  She worked for a number of years at Rutgers University in their Cognitive Development and Learning Lab, and she received both a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. from Rutgers’ Graduate School of Education.  Jamie also served as the Sunday School Superintendent at Central Baptist Church in Atlantic Highlands before coming to New Monmouth.  Jamie enjoys running, coaching cross country and track at Middletown HS North, and spending time with her family. Her ministry goal is to work alongside parents and equip families in their journey of developing their children’s understanding of Jesus and His love for them. The aim is for families and the children’s ministry staff work together to build a gospel-centered, biblical foundation in children’s lives from an early age that continues developing into adulthood.

Evie Best

Campus Care

Evelyn Rose Best is New Monmouth Baptist Church’s “Cleaning Lady”. She is married to Mark Best and they have a son Timothy. Mark and Evelyn were married and baptized at New Monmouth Baptist Church in 1996.

Walt Graczyk

Music Director

Walt Graczyk is the Music Director here at NMBC. Walt has been involved in leading in music and music ministry since 2007. He has also had the opportunity to lead the Junior and Senior High youth groups in worship as well as being one of the youth leaders. Over the years, he has also been involved in leading worship at other local churches and Bible study groups in the greater Middletown, New Jersey area, and handles the tech side for all church concert venues and other events.
Walt’s desire is to build and equip Worship Teams that will honor our father God in Praise, as well as effect the surrounding NMBC community in a way that would draw them in, with a desire to know our Savior Jesus more, developing a personal relationship with him in their own lives.
